Yes. Tell us which piece you are interested in and we will send photographs and a short video of it in daylight. You are also welcome to come and see it in person, and we can usually hold a piece for a short period while you decide. Ask us and we will confirm what is possible for that saree.
Handloom has tells you can see: slight irregularity in the weft, a reverse that is nearly as finished as the face, and a border that is woven in rather than printed on. We list the weave, the cluster and the fibre for every piece, and if you want to know more about how a particular saree was made, ask and we will tell you what we know about it.
No. Each saree comes with an unstitched blouse piece of the length listed on its page. We can point you to tailors in Bengaluru, and for orders elsewhere we can usually arrange stitching to your measurements for an additional charge. Ask us for a quote and a timeline.
Yes, worldwide, tracked and insured. Shipping inside India is tracked and insured too. We quote delivery cost and an estimated time per order rather than promising a fixed figure, because both depend on the destination. Customs duty and import tax in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility.
You can return an unworn saree within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, as long as the tags are intact and the blouse piece has not been cut. Commissioned pieces cannot be returned once the warp is dressed, because they were woven to your specification. Write to us before sending anything back. The full terms are on the refund and returns page.
Yes. Tell us the weave, the colour and the border you have in mind. Loom time varies a great deal by cluster and by how complex the design is, so we give you an estimate before anything is warped, and we ask for a deposit that stays refundable until the warp is dressed.
